Unfortunately the forecasters are predicting a colder than average winter for 2016-2017 in the northeast.  Looks like we're in for another winter of hibernation from golf at St. Davids..but not in Florida! :)

What makes our school different than the typical golf school?  Imagine spending thousands of dollars on a golf school, learning about your game and working to improve with an instructor and never seeing that person again in your life.  Instead, your investment in your game is either a continuation of your work with our staff or the start of your road to improvement that can continue for 2017 and beyond!  Not to mention, this all takes place at an award winning resort where you can combine better golf and a winter getaway all at once.



We'll cover all aspects of the game, with both group and individual portions while providing the players with a chance to discover their own ability and improve their own awareness of what is happening in their game.  We'll give you a way to take your game from the range to the course, with exercises that will prepare you to play better golf.  We'll instruct you on how to practice effectively and expedite the learning process. We'll also play two rounds of golf to continue the coaching in a golf course setting.

Timing

Players have the option of arriving anytime prior to 12 PM on Friday and leaving after golf wraps up on Sunday.  Additional nights may be added when making your reservation.

Travel

The easiest way in and out of Marco Island is via the Fort Meyers airport, 55 minutes from the hotel. In addition, the Fort Lauderdale airport is less than two hours from the hotel and easily accessible. Transportation will be provided at the resort to and from the golf course, so a rental car is not required once you secure transportation from the airport. Southwest flies into both airports, so your bags can fly free PLUS we offer to ship your clubs each way so you don't have to worry about it!

Expect sunshine and shorts!  The average high in January is 77 degrees!  Compare that to Wayne, PA where the average January high is 39 degrees.  Enough said!

 

What level of player is this best for?

 

Your handicap or level of experience does not matter!  We've had novices and single digit handicappers attend our schools.  We're sure to tailor the coaching to each player's ability level and are sure you will leave with more knowledge and confidence in your game!

Guests

Guests of St. Davids members will be permitted to attend if space is available after October 15th.

Requirements for Booking

A $200 deposit made by check will confirm your spot in the school.  The deposit is refundable if cancelled 45 days or more prior to the golf school.

Deadline

The deadline to register is November 6th.

Marriott Rewards Points

If you have Marriott points, they may be applied to additional nights added on your stay but are not applicable to the golf school package rate for Friday and Saturday.

Cancellation 

We ask that you make every effort to attend the golf school after your reservation.  In the event of an emergency or flights cancelled for weather that make it impossible to attend the school, you will receive a refund of the instruction portion (less the deposit).  Hotel cancellations should be made 7 days prior to your arrival to avoid fees.  Please confirm cancellation policy details with the hotel during booking.
