Mike's Bio
Mike’s passion for the game of golf has been growing ever since his dad got him his first set of clubs and took him to the driving range when he was eight years old. His father, William, played golf for LaSalle College and taught Mike how to play the game. Originally from Nazareth, PA, Mike began his career in the golf business working at Whitetail Golf Club and honing his game. During the summer months, Mike would spend countless hours on the range and short game areas at Whitetail. He loved every minute of it and Mike soon found that he enjoyed competing as well.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is based on the experience I have gained learning from some of the best and brightest minds in the golf world such as Jim McLean, Charlie King, Dr. Rick Jensen, and Henry Brunton to name a few. I am a big believer in the uniqueness of all golfers and the need to teach the individual rather than having a student conform to a model. I am adamantly against rigid “swing methods,” the countless golf instruction fads that come and go, or learning from an unqualified buddy or spouse. Reaching your true potential in golf is unlikely while following these courses of action.

First Place Low Qualifier in the 2011 Pennsylvania State Open Championship Qualifier (East) at Brookside Country Club, Pottstown, PA (Shot 5-under par 67, low round in professional competition)
